The Gender and Family Affairs Department of the Ministry of Social Services, Information & Broadcasting held an International Men's Day workshop, November 19, 2024 at Police Headquarters.  Minister, the Hon. Myles LaRoda gave opening remarks and the Men's Desk Coordinator Bishop Chadwick L. James gave words of encouragement to the uniformed branch officers. 

International Men's Day is celebrated annually on November 19 to bring awareness to challenges men may face of abuse, homelessness, suicide and violence.  International Men's Day also celebrates the roles men play, and their contributions to society.
