ELEUTHERA — Kalik has renewed its commitment to the North Eleuthera Regatta through a new two-year sponsorship agreement with the North Eleuthera Regatta Committee. Building on previous years of partnership, Kalik's sponsorship aims to bolster the Bahamian sport of sloop sailing and support economic and cultural development in the Family Islands.

Despite Hurricane Milton's impact, which led to the cancellation of the regatta's sloop sailing events, Kalik maintained a strong presence at the gathering. The brand provided complimentary samples of Kalik Light Platinum and Radler, allowing attendees to experience its various offerings.

Kalik also engaged eventgoers with a $1,000 giveaway open to customers who purchased a six-pack of any Kalik product at 700 Wines & Spirits locations on Harbour Island, Eleuthera, and other select outlets. The prize, drawn on Saturday night from the regatta's main stage, went to Mr. E. Carey, who purchased his winning six-pack from the 700 Wines & Spirits Store at Governor's Harbour.

Kalik's on-site branding, including promotional tents, sail flags, and giveaways of Kalik-branded straw hats and sunglasses, helped create a festive atmosphere.

The brand's representatives emphasized their commitment to supporting Bahamian traditions, including sloop sailing, through local partnerships and events.

"We are proud to support the North Eleuthera Regatta. Sloop sailing is a part of who we are as Bahamians, and regatta is 'In Our Hands,'" said Queswell Ferguson, Senior Brand Manager with Commonwealth Brewery. He thanked Javaugh Rolle, President of the North Eleuthera Regatta Committee, for the partnership, expressing excitement for the collaboration over the next two years.

Kalik's sponsorship reflects the brand's dedication to celebrating Bahamian culture and community, as it looks forward to continued support of local traditions across The Bahamas.
