My work all starts with the beauty of this warm, tropical, climate in the Bahamas. It inspires the designs for my art quilts which are a collage of hand-dyed fabrics, thread, and other textured materials featuring underwater sea-life, Bahamian people, landscapes, and island themes like palm trees and native flowers.

At our studio here on the island of Abaco I also carry over a thousand bolts of cotton fabrics with all sorts of designs including tropical, tone-on-tones, and florals. I also carry Bahama Hand Prints fabric and the uniquely Bahamian Androsia fabric. They can be incorporated into quilts as well.
